Curriculum Vitae
C. R. Caldwell is a Dallas based designer / graphic artist, whose complete body of work is not limited to one style.
After a brief time attending Technical School, I worked in a small Advertising Agency as Art Director. This lead to a Marketing Directors position at Studebaker's of America with over eleven clubs across America.
Succeeding five years of the bar business, I was able to launch a successful Design Studio which included clients as Texas Instruments / Deloitte Touche / Desperado's / Gators / Chili's Bar & Grill / Hard Rock Cafe
My Medium
I use many different mediums, such as acrylics, oils, markers and pencil.
I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
My Inspiration
I enjoy reading and admiring the old masters of Art Nouveau / Art Deco / 50's & 60's Styles / Post Modernism / Impressionism and Pop Art. Most of my work is directly influenced by this curiosity and research. I love recreating past styles and cultures in my work.
